Super Sweet Chocolate Covered Strawberries

This fruity treat has been our favorite little dessert for the longest time! It is so much easier to make than you would think, and it satisfies that undeniable chocolate craving that we all get! This easy recipe is the beginning to a beautiful long lasting relationship with melting chocolate, so be ready!

What you need:

• fresh strawberries

• candy melts/wafers (1 bag will go a long way, and you can find these at A.C. Moore)

• wax paper

What to do:

• Place the candy melts into a microwave-safe bowl and microwave for 30 seconds. Stir the chocolate and microwave for 30 seconds again. Continue this routine until the chocolate is a soft and creamy consistency. Do not be impatience and attemp to rush this process!

• Rinse the strawberries and pat dry

• Dip the strawberries into the chocolate and place on a tray with wax paper

• You can play around with the chocolate by using a zip-lock baggy to act as a piping bag! Use a spoon to fill the baggy with melted chocolate, and twist the top, so that all of the bag's contents are in one corner. Cut a tiny hole in that corner, and go crazy!

• Place the tray in the fridge for at least 5 minutes, and enjoy your super fancy treats!
